Abstract Information

Call for abstracts - New deadline for abstract submission is June 15th, 2026

Submission is now closed!

One of the main functions of the SATS meeting is to attract young cardiothoracic scientists and create opportunities for them to practice the abstract process and presentation. The meeting is excellent event to network with other researchers from Nordic countries and meet the mentors in the area of research and practice. There is no age limit for sending an abstract and therefore this is an excellent chance also to present the on-going studies and connect with your peers in changing ideas.

Submission


Abstracts must be submitted through the conference website. Submission by any other means, such as mail or email, will not be accepted. Do not make multiple submissions of the same abstract. Abstracts must be prepared in English.

A confirmation with the abstract reference code will automatically be sent to the email address given when submitted. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find it. For questions, please contact alexandra@mkon.se.

Submit you abstract before deadline 15 June

Information

  • Abstracts should be submitted eletronically via the conference website no later then June 15th 2026.

  • Each abstract, including references, is limited to 250 words.

  • Brief titles are preferred and will be more attractive in the program. Do not use capital letters.

  • Authors: First name and last name. e.g.: John Smith. Start with the presenting author.

  • Affiliations: Name of the institutional affiliation, city and country (no address).


  • Instead of using special characters, type the whole word: e.g ”alpha"

  • Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission will be sent to the stated e-mail address. If you do not receive the confirmatory e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us at: malin@mkon.se 

  • The submitter of the abstract will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the presenter and co-authors of the status of the abstract.

  • The submitter will have access to the abstract after submission via an on-line Personal Page.

  • Notification of acceptance of the abstracts will be sent to the stated e-mail address June 2026.

Personal Page

When your abstract is submitted you can follow the progress on-line by entering your Personal Page for abstracts.

Your Personal Page for abstracts makes it possible for you to read, update and print your abstract until the abstract submission deadline.

You will be able to access your Personal Page for abstracts by entering your unique link received in the confirmatory email after submission.
